Activity Update
So it’s been a long haul since I started going to physio but things are getting more routine now. I’ve been running 20 minutes a few times, in 4 minute sets, and have been attending hot yoga a bunch of times. I’ve still got a bit over a week on my one month trail and I plan to make the most of it. I’m hoping to go another 3 times before it expires. I also found out that I can keep doing hot yoga after I get pregnant as long as I’ve been doing it for a while before I get knocked up so my body is used to it.
I’ve been working hard on all my stretches and I have so far run pain free both in my hip and knee. I will admit that my butt hurts a little bit but I think that’s because a few muscles that were not being used have been awoken and they don’t like that, but too bad for them! I see my woman’s physiotherapist on Thursday, and then next week my normal physiotherapist again. I’m going to try to convince her to let me run a little further.
I really like being back on the treadmill but 20 minutes only gets me 1.7 miles and I want to hit the silly 5km number! Wish me luck!
