First Post-Race Run.
So today I had my first post-race run and it was good. I thought it would be really hard and that I would hurt but it went really well. I am working on speed now so I did 12 sets of 2.5 minutes where I ran as hard as I could for 60 seconds and then walked for 90 seconds. I ended up doing 7km in total. I did 5 minutes of warm ups, 30 minutes of my running/walking sets, and then jogged/walked the rest of it.
I’m out of town visiting my mom so I had to run on a strange road but that’s okay. Being here meant I had her to take care of Lillian while I ran. She’s been such a good girl. She’s going crazy for real food now that we’ve started to feed her fruits and veggies. In the past few days she’s eaten cauliflower, apple, apple in oat bran, beans and asparagus. She’s just loving it. You can tell when she likes it because she dive bombs the spoon and squeels for more. Such a cutie!!
