Looking on the Bright Side.
So today I wanted to run 12km. I planned to do it first thing in the morning before my hubby left to see his father. To manage that I had to leave before 8:30am in order to get the run in before he had to leave, they had an appointment so leaving late was not an option. Sadly my baby decided to sleep until after 8am, instead of waking up at 6:30. So I decided not to stress myself, and instead run in the afternoon with Lillian in the stroller. So I see her getting sleepy and put her in the stroller and got ready to go. That was the worst run of my life! It was horrible! There were bugs, it was so hot and hazey, the humidity was 94%, it wouldn’t rain, the sun came out in full force, Lillian wouldn’t go to sleep, I had to pee 5 minutes in, AND I had a serious weggie the whole time. It was aweful! Needless to say, we did not get 12km as I planned. But rather than being upset that I didn’t run the 12km I planned to go I have decided to be happy that I did manage to run 6km despite all the horribleness!
Go me!
- Countdown to 1000km!
- First Morning Run.
Darn right go you!
The humidity alone would be enough to deter me from that running lol.
