So on April 1st I posted my before and after photos for having lost 20lbs in three months. Now it’s been six months and I’m down just under 36lbs which I think is amazing. I have never been this current weight in my adult life. I was looking at some measurements that I took of myself a few days after I got pregnant. At the time I took them I didn’t even know I was pregnant. At that time my measurements were as you can see below in white. The purple numbers are the ones from when I started weight watchers on January 1st, having had my baby girl in October. Currently they are the green numbers.
Chest: 40.5 inches –> 43.5 inches –> 39.75 inches
Waist: 35 inches –> 39 inches –> 35 inches
Abdomen/Bellybutton: 39.5 inches –> 44 inches –> 37.5 inches
Hips: 43.5 inches –> 47 inches –> 41 inches
So as you can see despite having gone up during my pregnancy, I am actually 5.25 inches smaller than before I got pregnant which is fantastic. I feel really good all the time. So while I still have a bit more to lose I’m hopeful that I can do it in the three months I have left before I go back to work. But I have made a discovery, and that is that while I want to lose more, if I one day have to stay at this weight for my life, such as after having all my babies and being a bit older, I would be completely comfortable with myself at this weight and that is a huge thing for me. I would just need to tone up a bit more, especially my bum and mommy tummy. But right now I feel really great about myself and that is something I haven’t had in a really long time.
