Did you know that Monday is Canadian Thanksgiving? Yes it is! It also happens to be the first Canadian Thanksgiving that I will be celebrating as a Canadian citizen, and you know what? I completely forgot that it’s thanksgiving on Monday! Ops!
I didn’t mean to forget about it! I just got so busy with work and life that it slipped my mind. Oh well. I guess we’ll just have to figure out something on the weekend. I hope that I can get a turkey still on Friday and go from there. The farmer’s market should be able to take care of everything, veggies, sides, desserts. I’m hopeful that I can get it all in, and that Sunday my girls will have a great Thanksgiving dinner. Not that it really matters to them since they won’t eat most of what you cook for Thanksgiving anyway.
Do you have any traditions you celebrate on Thanksgiving every year? I’m trying to decide if there are any biggies I can start with the girls this year. Maybe we’ll skip the dinner all together and do thanksgiving brunch!
