Training Tuesday – Week 6 of 15
So this week was a wicked week. I had to mix things up a bit for the first time in this training. I rocked my speed run, but my easy run ended up being with a little miss in a stroller and got cut short, and my long run was pushed off on Saturday for the first time in a long time due to visiting my father-in-law for his birthday. But pushing the run to Sunday was not a bad thing. I started out a little tired and wasn’t sure how my long run would go but I had planned to accomplish a task while running so I needed to run to do that. And then on the way back I ran into my running coach! I love when I you find someone on a run that makes you smile! I rocked the last 3km of my run because I saw her and it made me happy!
Despite all the chaos, I managed to squeeze in that strength training I was talking about, so that is a major plus, and I accomplished all my runs in acceptable paces for the weather and conditions of the run. So I’m pumped for next week!
