Training Tuesday – Week 1 of 15

Here we go again!! Long time no training so I’m really excited to be getting back at it! This week I completed 3 runs, for a total of 18.16km or 2:13 hours. My overall pace was 7:20/km.

While that may not seem like very much distance or time wise it’s a huge step for me in getting things started again. I want to complete a half-marathon in the Fall and that means carefully and slowly building my mileage from my current 7km all the way up to 21km. I know I can do it, but I need to hold myself back so I don’t injure myself and regret going out too hard, too fast. So for now I celebrate the small victories and look forward to the future weeks where I can rock it for longer.
