Challenge Accepted.

Okay, so I try not to let the little things bother me but I have gained 5 lbs post marathon and they are just not going away! I was 148lbs before the race and have bumped up to 153lbs and I want to get back until 150 and nothing I am doing is working! This is seriously starting to frustrate me! So last night I came up with a plan. In order to really focus on my eating I need to have a fitness goal! I’ve always used fitness goals to guide my eating and my exercise and keep everything in balance, and that is what I am going to do now!

I would love to do a 5km in under 30 minutes or break my 10km time of 1:12 so either one is good with me! I’ll train for the 10km and see how I feel the day off. I’m starting on April 1st to train for the Waterloo Classic which is June 16th. I figure this gives me enough time to get myself ready sine I’m doing so much better now after my injury, and won’t interfere with the hubby’s marathon, since he’ll be on a rest week followed by tapering when I start my training. So that’s my goal! I’ll keep you posted on my progress when I begin and get my run on. For now I will grumble about my extra poundage, and show off my cute little ladies!
