Getting my homemaker skills on!
Hehehe. January has been one very busy and creative month for me and I have to say I’m pretty proud of this!
I have managed to create my girls 15 box blocks to build towers with in our basement. I also have this really cute little dressed that I sewed for my girls’ groovy girls dolls. Lillian’s doll has a pink dress with sparkles and Katrina’s doll has a green and yellow dress that matches a dress I made Lillian for Katrina’s first birthday. I can’t wait for summer when the doll can match my little lady!
But I haven’t just been busy with creative physical things! I’ve been one busy cooking mama too. This past weekend I actually baked homemade focaccia buns, two batches of mini cookies, barley vegetable salad and two crust-less zucchini pies! I also made loads of my usual suspects like soup, salad dressing, bread and so on for us. I don’t know if it was the crazy sugar filled holidays that sparked this health surge but I have been on a health food kick and honestly I don’t plan on stopping anytime soon! I’ve actually eaten 2 whole avacados myself this week. I have been craving sugar in the afternoons so I think this is a good way for me to get extra food in me without causing me to eat too many extra calories.
In case you’re interested I’ve linked my on line recipes above for you. All the links are vegetarian and SOOO super yummy!
