Too Close to Call.

Okay, so I’m still feeling icky today but I did manage to accomplish all the things I wanted to get done today, including errands, baking, cooking soup, playing with my daughter, driving my husband to and from work, and also changing our sheets and towels. I typically change our bed sheets and towels on a bi-weekly schedule, one week towels the next sheets, but when we are sick I feel the need to do them both at once, and wash the dovet covers in teatree oil as well. So I accomplished all those things today and while I don’t feel my fabulous self, with the help of Advil I’m doing okay. So now I’m hopeful that a good sleep tonight will help fend off this evil cold. I know when I’m sick my exercise sucks for a good two weeks afterwards so I won’t be breaking any records on Sunday but I am determined to do the race, even if I totally suck at it! My game plan for tonight is simple. I’ll go to sleep when we put Lillian down around 9pm and my husband will give her a bottle for her 11pm feeding. Then in the morning he’ll sleep in and I’ll take care of her, except for the 30 minutes I have to take my dog to the vet when he’ll have to make sure Lilly doesn’t disappear but otherwise he’ll get to sleep and if he needs a nap later in the day he’ll get it.

On a more positive note, I dropped another 2lbs this week and now for the first time in the plus seven years that I’ve been togehter with my hubby I actually weigh less than him. I have to say that feels pretty amazing and I am so proud of how far I’ve come. I’ve managed to lose 28lbs since January first and that leaves me with another 20lbs to go until my goal weight, providing that I actually decide to stay at that weight. I know that once I hit the right weight my body will be happy there and the weight will pretty much stall and stop coming off but until I hit that number I won’t actually know. Plus after I drop the weight I will have to focus more on getting toned since right now I’m all about getting the weight off. I have to be careful though, I’m one of those people who have the genes to bulk up super fast. Anywho back to resting and my orange juice.

Time remaining unitl the Half-Marathon: 1 day, 13 hours, 10 minutes.
