So here we are! It’s 6 months after really starting my post-pregnancy fitness journey. I’ve worked really hard and am doing much better than I thought I was. I felt as if I hadn’t made as much progress these past 3 months as I did my first 3 months, but the stats don’t lie and though my inches didn’t drop as much that is normal for inches to slow down from doing the same activity, but my weight loss was almost the same. Okay I’ll be honest, I weighed in on Tuesday this week because Steve was going away on business, and recorded that number but today’s would have put me exactly 10 lbs down in 3 months, just like the first 3 months!
So I’m thrilled that I’ve dropped an additional 9.8lbs and another 5.5 inches. That means a total of 19.8lbs and 13.5 inches. Now while I would say I wish I’d have lost more, I have to say I am thrilled with the results. I also know that my 8 weeks of boot camp will help to boost the number of inches I drop in the next 3 month cycle. I’m excited to see what the next 3 months bring as I’m going to be running some big numbers over the next few months to prepare for my half marathon and hopefully at the end of it I’ll be in another decade.
