Mental Prep time.
Tomorrow is my longest tempo run of my whole training. 15km total running, 12km at tempo. I will have to be out the door between 5:30 and 6am to get it done. That means I have to wear a head lamp, reflective gear and try NOT to freeze my tushie off. I’m a bit nervous to head out 30-60 minutes before sunrise but I know this is my hardest run I’ll have to do and I can do it!
I will be out there alone, but my ipod, my garmin and my sheer determination will drive me to do it! Wish me luck, because last time I tried to get out that early I sat on my steps and bawled like a baby. I’m going to just pretend that didn’t happen.
